And then it is that way [08 Dec 2004|07:26am] [ mood | sad ] For 3 or 4 years now the holidays havent felt like the holidays. I decided to have a bat mitzvah and we stopped "celebrating" christmas. At first i was happy, but now i actually miss it. I miss coming home to that pine smell, decorated house, and counting down till the 25th on our advent calendar things.. I miss waking up to the smell of turkey bacon every sunday and the sound of frank sinatras christmas albums.  I miss going to haileys house every christmas morning after we opened our gifts. I love hanukah, but christmas seemed to make everyone so happy, it's just a different feeling that i  get from christmas than hanukah. It's hard getting used to change, but i'm just now realizing what  a huge difference christmas made in my familys' holiday spirit and how big of a part it played in this season, and i took that away from all of us. Nothing lasts forever. I've decided that everyone should have a boyfriend or a girlfriend from november 25th till january 1st. I've also decided or realized that that's definitely not happening for me. Hmm maybe next year. [26 Oct 2004|08:05pm] [ music | athornforeveryheart ] he brought me soup when i felt like shit. he brought it in a bag with my favorite animals on it. being told i look beautiful when im at my worst floods my eyes with tears...happy ones of course. looking up my name on google images and sending the pictures back and forth between jackie ali and myself made up for my being home alone all day. sadness and lonesome isnt even in the picture anymore. [23 Oct 2004|12:28pm] So in New York it's 12:30 I stayed at my brother's apartment last night with all of his friends, didnt sleep, there's no point of even shutting the windows in New York cuz you can still hear absolutely everything going on outside. annoying as shit..my eyes hurt. My mom grounded me from a day of shopping yesterday.. so that means power shopping today. I'm going to see RENT today with the fam, we're like the only family in the world that hasnt seen it...because all we do is relax in Hawaii...definitely not complaining there. One more week of October means one more week for my horoscope to be true...it's about time cupid starts working anyways.
